DEVELOPMENT OF MILK PROCESSING INDUSTRY: TODAY AND PROSPECTS

Abstract
The article examines the current state and prospects for the further development of the milk processing industry in Ukraine. The place of the processing industry in the total volume of sold industrial products is highlighted. Quantitative changes in farm animals and, in particular, cows are analysed. The dynamics of the main indicators that provide a characteristic of the functioning of the milk processing industry of Ukraine in modern conditions is considered. The ABC-analysis of milk production indicators in the regions of Ukraine is made. A range of problems hindering the development of the studied industry is highlighted, and ways of solving these problems are outlined.
