Development of resources of families with a child with special needs as the part of social and pedagogical work in the institutions of early social rehabilitation

Abstract
In this study the researchers look at the problem of enhancement and development of all resources of families with young and preschool-aged children with special needs. The author maintains that solution of this problem lies in organization of the planned activities of social teacher of the institutions of early social rehabilitation. The family’s resources which are important for the social integration of a child into a social and cultural environment and require the attention of the social teacher are dwelt upon. These are: early beginning of rehabilitation activities; harmonic relations between parents and a child; the quality of family life; the development of constructive relations with surroundings (including specialists of social rehabilitation centers and other establishments); the ability of parents to a quality performance of the tasks of early social rehabilitation of their child; personal fulfillment of parents and their proactive approach to life. The social worker in the institution of early social rehabilitation coordinates the actions of the interdisciplinary team of specialists, initiates human relationship with families and stimulates relevant family education.
