DIAGNOSTICS OF MUSICAL AND SCENIC SKILLS OF ARTS FACULTIES STUDENTS AT PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITIES

Abstract

The article reveals the diagnostic stage of developing musical and stage skills of future musical art and choreography teachers during professional training at the faculties of art at pedagogical universities. A. Zaitseva, A. Kozyr, H. Padalka, and O. Sholokova study the problem of developing musical and scenic skills theoretically, analyze the practice of professional training the future musical art and choreography teachers. Musical and scenic skills in the context of the article are considered as a complex of intellectual, emotional, volitional, regulatory, artistic, and creative qualities of students that determine their ability to embody an artistic image in the process of performing activities on the basis of the acquisition of special knowledge, skills and practical professional experience. The structure of musical and stage skills of future musical art and choreography teachers is developed, criteria and indicators are determined. The results of the preliminary stage of experimental work on the development of musical and stage skills of future musical art and choreography teachers are presented. The author concludes that the majority of future specialists in the field of musical art and choreography show significant cognitive interest and the need to improve their own musical and scenic skills, they are aware of their significance in professional pedagogical activity. At the same time, the inadequate attention of teachers to the solution of this problem, the low level of students’ awareness about the possibilities and ways of forming musical and stage skills in the process of professional training testify to the relevance of the research and the need to develop an effective methodology for forming the musical and scenic skills of future musical art and choreography teachers.
