DIFFERENT TYPES OF FILLERS IN FINE-GRAINED CONCRETE MADE FROM INDUSTRIAL WASTE WITH BINDING MATERIAL
Journal Title: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Research & Developments (JMERD) - Year 2018, Vol 41, Issue 2
Abstract
The work is dedicated to the development of nano-structured paints with a barrier effect. The process of the preparation of such compositions has been studied. The influence of various technological parameters on the processing of these compositions is shown. A practical and effective method for monitoring the progress of this process is proposed. The contribution of technological parameters that allow scaling of the obtained results to experimental and industrial technological lines equipped with serial equipment for the production of paint and varnish composite materials for various purposes is estimated, namely, the dependence of the processing efficiency of carbon nanotubes in the solution medium of an epoxy oligomer on the angular velocity is established. In addition, the temperature limits for the processing of these nanotubes are established for the preparation of nano-structured paint and varnish compositions, which have a barrier effect. It has been established that for the intensification of the processing process, it is necessary to use dispersing bodies and assess the effect of their geometric parameters together with the degree of filling on the efficiency of this processing process. On the basis of this research, the mathematical expression connecting volume capacity with various technological parameters for an estimation of efficiency of process of manufacture of the nano-structured paint and varnish compositions possessing barrier effect is offered.

ANALYSIS OF THE FAILURE-FREE OPERATION OF THE PASSIVE REDUNDANT SUBSYSTEMS OF THE AIRCRAFT WITH DUE CONSIDERATION OF THE TOLERANCES
The goal of this paper is to examine the failure-free operation of the passive redundant subsystems of the aircraft with due consideration of the tolerances for decrease of their output parameters in the cases of failure...
PERFORMANCE OF LOW-COST DUAL CIRCUIT SOLAR ASSISTED CABINET DRYER FOR GREEN BANANA
A low-cost solar cabinet dryer was designed to dry green banana. The dryer was made of low-cost material readily available locally. The dryer consists of two types of solar collector (air and fluid collectors), water tan...
LOW SPEED ROLLING BEARING DIAGNOSTICS USING ACOUSTIC EMISSION AND HIGHER ORDER STATISTICS TECHNIQUES
Diagnostics in low speed rolling element bearings is difficult. Not only are normal frequency domain diagnostics methods not appropriate for this application, but the bearing response signals are usually immersed in back...
NONLINEAR BUCKLING ANALYSIS OF A CYLINDRICAL SHELL STRUCTURES
Pressure hulls are designed to stand the hydro static and dynamic bearing when they operate under water. These structures are also applied to naval submarines, remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and autonomous underwater ve...
CROSS-POLAR ROUTES AS A FACTOR THAT CHANGED THE GEOMETRIC LAYOUT OF LONG-HAUL AIRCRAFTS FLYING OVER LONG DISTANCES
A structural-parametric analysis of the effect of infrastructure constraints in the basing of long-haul aircrafts on the choice of the aerodynamic balancing scheme of the aircraft was carried out. As a criterion, the car...
