Journal Title: Інноваційна економіка - Year 2017, Vol 69, Issue 5

Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the article is to analyze the components of the process of rational land use by enterprises of AIC. Methodology of research. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical method of scientific knowledge. General scientific and special research methods are used in the article, namely: abstract and logical, deductive and generalization. The main factors influencing the process of rational land use by the enterprises of AIC are outlined with using the abstract and logical method. Areas that promote improvement of land use in the agricultural sector are analyzed with the help of a deductive method. Findings. It is established that the following technologies of cultivation of soil are used in practice for land use: traditional technology on the basis of plowing, technology of unpolished basic cultivation, technology of minimal cultivation of soil and zero cultivation. It is determined that the application of optimally selected agro-technologies with the appropriate means of mechanization, agricultural crops and crop rotation allows not only to reduce carbon emissions from the soil, but also to accumulate it in the soil. It is proved that organic farming is a system of environmental management of agricultural production that supports and enhances biodiversity, biological cycles and soil biological activity. This is the practical realization of the general concept of ecologically and socially balanced development. It is argued that the use of innovative resource-saving technologies in agriculture stops degradation of land, reproduces soil fertility, provides land protection and rational use of them and improves the ecological state of the environment. At the same time, there is an increase in the economic efficiency of agrarian production and agricultural crop yields. It is substantiated that the promising method of continuous agro-ecological monitoring is the remote aerospace method, which provides an opportunity to receive operative and objective information on the dynamics of quantitative and qualitative indicators of soils, vegetation cover, forest areas in large territories. Originality. It is proved that improvement of land use in the agrarian sector of Ukraine is possible through the application of structural, technological, technical, managerial, financial and economic measures that will ensure the competitiveness of agricultural companies’ products both on the domestic and foreign markets. Practical value. Implementation of complex environmental and economic measures in the agro-industrial complex processes as a resource and the main means of production will help stabilize the ecological situation, ensure food security of the population and sustainable development of the territorial communities.
