DISCOURSE MEANS OF COMIC FORMATION IN COMEDY FILMS “BIG MOMMA’S HOUSE” AND “DOCTOR DOLITTLE”

Abstract
The article studies the category of comic as an aesthetic category of world understanding. The approaches to studying the category of comic, means of its formation at all linguistic levels as well as its functions are considered. Discourse means of comic formation are analysed in detail based on two American comedy films and their dubbed Ukrainian translations.
