DISPUTE SETTLEMENT WITHIN WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION

Abstract
This article covers the main features and functions of the Dispute settlement procedures in the World Trade Organization (WTO). The historical development and significance of the WTO dispute settlement mechanism is analyzed. The author determines the procedure of trade disputes and characterizes the main bodies involved in the deciding cases. The experience of Ukraine as the plaintiff and defendant in the WTO-cases are also reviewed.
