Długoterminowe zmiany w ichtiofaunie polskiej części dorzecza Czarnej Orawy
Journal Title: Roczniki Naukowe Polskiego Związku Wędkarskiego - Year 2014, Vol 27, Issue
Abstract
Long-term (1962–2011) changes and tendencies in the structure of fish communities in the Czarna Orawa River catchment were determined on the basis of available literature data, and own data collected in 2010–2011. Main factors underlying these changes were identified. Six fish species have become extinct in the Czarna Orawa River catchment over the 50 years. Five of the species are protected by Polish law. The coefficient of fish fauna turnover rate for the catchment was T = 0.2 for the recent 50 years.
