Dmytro Paliyev about november’s revolutson of 1918 – 1919 on the western Ukraine territories

Abstract
The article analyzes the research works by Dmytro Palìyiv connected with the XX th century military history of Ukraine, foremost, with the history of Ukrainian Legion of Sich RiÀ emen, the November revolution of 1918 on western lands and the participation of Halician army in Polish-Ukrainian war of 1918 – 1919, national liberation movement. His participation in organization of referent in the works of Military Committee in Lviv, describes military activity during the period of WUPR and UPR Armed Forces formation 1918 – 1919, efforts were directed on the use of these formation with the purpose of propagation of ideas of the Ukrainian emancipating movement. It is proved that he came to important military and political conclusions basing on the study of liberation struggle of 1918 – 1921. The value of Dmytro Paliyiv’s creative contribution for the development of national military historical science is shown.
