Abstract
In the article on the basis of analysis of scientific views possible ways of improving the control and supervision of the activities of research and expert-forensic institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine are outlined. It is substantiated that in order to improve the control over the activities of the NDECU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine it would be advisable to develop a concept of internal control in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in which particular attention should be paid to the principles of control over the functioning of these institutions, in particular to define the tasks and principles of this control, its circle of subjects and their powers, the basic forms and methods of its realization.
