Abstract
In this article, the first work of famous Russian author, Dostoyevsky`s novel ofPoor Folk is tried to be analyzed. The effect of thepreparatoryprocess of theworkandlivingconditions of theauthor on theprocess of writing isstudiedandthenthefactorsbehindtheworkwhichbringsoutremarkablyrapidfame is questioned. It is thefactthat Russian realismdevelopsduringthe XIX. centuryand in thisessaythetraces of the Russian realismthat is seen in thenovel is analysed.
