Abstract
The review is addressed to wood as a source of respiratory tract symptoms which can be, or not, qualified as allergic ones. It is good to realize that lack of grounds for the diagnosis of one disease does not exclude the justification to recognize another. It rather shows that pathogenesis of diseases caused by wood dust is not entirely clear. Partition of the review in two parts aims at presentation of detailed records of five selected cases in part I – and shows definitive diagnoses along the way of reaching them in its part II means to invite the reader to interactive work. ............................... Praca jest poświęcona drewnu, jako źródłu objawów ze strony układu oddechowego, które można lub nie należy kwalifikować jako alergiczne. Jest dobrym przypomnieniem, że brak podstaw do rozpoznania jednej choroby nie wyklucza uzasadnień do rozpoznania innej. Uzmysławia, że patogeneza chorób wywołanych pyłem drewna jest złożona i nie do końca jasna. Podział opracowania na dwie części z zamysłem przedstawienia w cz. I szczegółowych historii chorób pięciu wybranych przypadków - a ujawnieniu ostatecznych rozpoznań wraz z drogą dochodzenia do nich dopiero w jego cz. II, jest zaproszeniem czytelnika do pracy interaktywnej.
