Abstract

The article deals with the spiritual and humanistic values of poetry by L. Kostenko. The artistic creativity is permeated by knowledge thoroughly and comprehension of human life and peace essential aspects. Parameters of her poetic world include of the Ukrainian people modern and past history, their age-old cultural heritage, their inherent worldview, the national way of thinking, the spirit of resistance and disobedience. High spirituality, moral maximalism, acute sense of beautiful thought, word, deed, feelings inherent in the lyrical heroine to personify the author himself. Poetry by L. Kostenko is a treasury of spiritual and humanistic postulates. This is a glance at the world from the retrospective image of the author's sense of reality, because of his subjective spiritual and humanistic orientations. The poet comprehends the content of life's problems philosophically, reveals the most important feelings of man, their complexity and uniqueness, and raises issues to be relevant to society. Her lyrical heroine conveys the being’s disharmony feeling of a modern man accurately; to be often conditioned by the awareness of the rational origin and spiritual values coexistence on the genetic level. At the heart of the spiritual and humanistic dimensions of L. Kostenko’s creative thinking are such imminent moral imperatives as freedom, truth, trust and honor. In the author's poetry they appear via personified images. At the stage of the highest spiritual values L. Kostenko presents art. Poetry as the center of the author’s artistic and emotional apperception pays particular attention. The source of the artist’s creative and spiritual uplift is, according to the poet, the nature harmonious world. An important spiritual and humanistic center of poetry extremely is also the poetic representation of love sense to be conceived as the apex of the essential self-expressing man. Spiritual-humanistic values of L. Kostenko's poetry are based on the neo-romantic worldview of the author, the core of which is Man as a unique person. The poet reflects on his role in society from the point of view of universal and national dimensions. In the artistic world of poetry, she advocates her own concept of spirituality. Her poetic thought seeks to combine ethical and aesthetic generalizations.
