Dylematy w badaniach opiekunów rodzinnych ludzi starych. Refleksje socjologa starości i opiekuna

Abstract
EN: The article is devoted mainly to dilemmas that should solve a researcher trying to recognize issues connected with multidimensional process of supporting the elderly by family carers. A list of questions, which ought to answer a scientist in that case is rather long. These questions refer to a carer’s definition, a level of researcher’s professional skills, abilities of interviewers, optimal research methods and carers’ samples or ethical dimensions in providing a research process. If we would be able to find answers to these questions, we can be almost sure that our research data will be reliable and useful for various receivers as other researches, service providers or carers themselves. PL: Artykuł poświęcony jest przede wszystkim dylematom, jakie powinien rozstrzygnąć badacz chcący rozpoznać złożone kwestie związane z wielowymiarowym procesem wspomagania przez opiekunów rodzinnych ludzi zaawansowanych wiekiem. Lista pytań, na które należałoby w takim przypadku znaleźć odpowiedź, jest stosunkowo długa, gdyż odnosi się między innymi do kwestii związanych ze zdefiniowaniem osoby pełniącej rolę opiekuna, z oceną poziomu własnych profesjonalnych umiejętności badawczych, przygotowaniem ankieterów, dobieraniem odpowiednich metod oraz prób badawczych czy z etycznymi wymiarami realizacji badań. Znalezienie odpowiedzi na te pytania w istotnym stopniu decyduje o poziomie rzetelności i stopniu użyteczności wyników pozyskanych w danym procesie badawczym dla zróżnicowanych odbiorców, wśród nich innych badaczy, dostawców usług czy samych opiekunów.
