Dynamics of transfer of electron excitation in a donor-acceptor system with a carbon chain and ways of its relaxation
Journal Title: Semiconductor Physics, Quantum Electronics and Optoelectronics - Year 2017, Vol 20, Issue 4
Abstract
The optical properties and dynamics of transport of electron excitation and the ways of its relaxation in the supramolecular D–π–A complex on the basis of merocyanines have been investigated. There have been found two components in the transfer of charge: fast and slow, which correspond to different conformational states of the carbon chain in merocyanines. It was found that the main photoluminescence of the studied molecular solutions of merocyanines by its nature is similar to the exciplex luminescence, as a manifestation of resonant and charge transfer interaction in an excited state. The lifetime in this state is about 2000 ps.

Oxygen ion-beam modification of vanadium oxide films for reaching a high value of the resistance temperature coefficient
A new method to prepare vanadium oxide with a high temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) and low resistance for uncooled micro-bolometers has been proposed. Amorphous vanadium oxide films with V2O3 phase inclusions...
Performance limits of terahertz zero biased rectifying detectors for direct detection
Performance limits of uncooled unbiased field effect transistors (FETs) and Schottky-barrier diodes (SBDs) as direct detection rectifying terahertz (THz) detectors operating in the broadband regime have been considered i...
Physical mechanisms and models of the long-term transformations in radiative recombination observed in n-GaAs under microwave irradiation
Simulation of long-term changes in photoluminescence of n-GaAs after microwave treatment by using the analysis of random events underlying the processes of evolution of the defect structure has been performed. We have sh...
Large polycrystalline optical germanium Ge:Na plates with improved optical parameters and their application
It has been experimentally shown that transmission and scattering of IR radiation by Na-doped соarse-grained large germanium plates are the same as of Ge:Na single crystals and exceeds the parameters in the commonly used...
The non-linear dependence of 6СНВТ liquid crystal conductivity on the concentration of gold nanoparticles
Within the frequency range 10–1…106 Hz at the temperature 293 K, the effect of gold nanoparticles on the dielectric properties of the planar-oriented nematic liquid crystal 6СНВТ has been studied. The concentration of na...
