Dynamics of transfer of electron excitation in a donor-acceptor system with a carbon chain and ways of its relaxation
Journal Title: Semiconductor Physics, Quantum Electronics and Optoelectronics - Year 2017, Vol 20, Issue 4
Abstract
The optical properties and dynamics of transport of electron excitation and the ways of its relaxation in the supramolecular D–π–A complex on the basis of merocyanines have been investigated. There have been found two components in the transfer of charge: fast and slow, which correspond to different conformational states of the carbon chain in merocyanines. It was found that the main photoluminescence of the studied molecular solutions of merocyanines by its nature is similar to the exciplex luminescence, as a manifestation of resonant and charge transfer interaction in an excited state. The lifetime in this state is about 2000 ps.

Modeling of ionizing radiation effect on static and dynamic behavior of vertical cavity surface emitting lasers
In this work, the effect of ionizing radiation on static and dynamic behavior of Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) was investigated numerically. First, the model of dynamic behavior before irradiation has be...
Macroscopic versus microscopic photovoltaic response of heterojunctions based on mechanochemically prepared nanopowders of kesterite and n-type semiconductors
Mechanochemically prepared nanopowder of selenium-free kesterite Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) in combination with n-type semiconductors, i.e., CdS, ZnO and TiO2, was tested in planar and bulk-heterojunction solar cells. The samples...
Effective lifetime of minority carriers in black silicon nano-textured by cones and pyramids
We calculated the dependence of effective lifetime of minority carriers in black silicon nano-textured by cones and pyramids on the diameter of the cone base, the side of the pyramid base, the height of cone and pyramid....
Dielectric spectroscopy of CuInSe2 single crystals
The results of high-frequency dielectric measurements with obtained α-CuInSe2 single crystals provided an opportunity to determine the mechanisms of dielectric losses and charge transport, and also to evaluate the densit...
Comparison of the synthesis routes for the ZnO/porous silica nanocomposite
ZnO/porous silica nanocomposites were successfully fabricated by three different types of synthesis techniques. In all cases, the molecular sieve SBA-16 was used as a porous matrix. The in situ growth the nanoparticles o...
