Dzieci wiejskie na starcie edukacyjnym – bariery i szanse

Abstract
The article addresses the postulate of providing equal educational opportunities for children from rural areas through pre-school education. It presents both the barriers as well as opportunities that exist in this area. The author analyses the changes that have occurred in recent years in the access to various forms of preschool education in the country. Both the level at which this education has been spread as well as its quality are highlighted. In conclusion, the attention is drawn to the opportunities provided to the pre-school education in rural areas by the implemented idea of community school.
