ECOLOGICAL-ECONOMIC POLICY OF THE REGION IN THE CONTEXT OF COMPETITIVENESS

Abstract
The essence and peculiarities of the ecological-economic policy of the region as a lever of ecological and economic competitiveness management are highlighted. The composition and importance of research of the corresponding competitive advantages are determined. The development of economic relations in Ukraine, accompanied by the introduction of innovations in the production of goods and services, inevitably leads to a deterioration of the ecological state and the environment. Most of the problems of socio-economic and environmental imbalances arise because of the lack of targeted policy of ecological and economic development of regions and the state as a whole. The ecological and economic competitive advantages of the national economy are the basis of the regional policy of the corresponding type and the formation of similar advantages at the regional level, since they determine their content, types and perspectives, which are connected with them. Provide and maintain optimality in their correlation – the task of regional ecological-economic policy and development strategies, which should be based on appropriate principles. Implementation of environmental and economic policies is impossible without environmental education and culture. Their goal is to formulate among the population, business entities, institutions of infrastructure of ecological knowledge, which, taking into account the economic component and their organic interconnection, will allow to realize and evaluate the interdependence of human activity and the ecological system, responsibility for damage to the environment, directions of formation and increase of ecology-economic competitiveness of regions, the importance of rational use of resources.
