ECONOMIC POTENTIAL OF THE OIL AND FAT SUBCOMPLEX OF UKRAINE AND THE WAYS OF ITS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article analyzes the economic potential of the Ukrainian Oil and Fat Subcomplex. It determines that the Oil and Fat Subcomplex has a significant place among the enterprises of the Agroindustrial Complex of Ukraine. The directions and volumes of export in recent years are considered. It is determined that the Oil and Fat Complex has a rather well-developed infrastructure, involving a significant raw material base, powerful modernized enterprises, a well-established logistics system. However, the domestic Oil and Fat Subcomplex has a number of problems related to the violation of the structure of sown areas, the imperfection of the taxation system of producers and some others. Besides, in recent years there has been a tendency to increasing of the competition in the market of oilseeds, caused by the excess of production capacities of its processing over the potential opportunities of its production by the agrarian sector
