EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AS A MOTIVATING FACTOR OF PUPILS BEHAVIOUR

Abstract

The author of the article examines different ways of children and young people motivation in education. Many scientists are interested in problem of motivation, so the researcher quotes definitions of W. Okon, T. Tomaszewski, T. Gordon, S. Mika, Z. Putkiewicz, E.I. Laska and others, who in their publications specifies the considerable role of motivation among children and young people and indicates motives of studying. The author pays his attention to consequences of failures such, as a too high self-appraisal or fears concerning ones existence or methods of education. The process of recognition of this problem begins in a midchildhood, where teachers, who has corresponding knowledge, experience and competence, play a significant role. The author of the article marks basic factors, that influence on motivation in studying, i.e. determination of connections between book-learning’s and everyday reality, improvement of knowledge given at school by means of participating in excursions, viewing of the educational programs, participating in various school circle and societies, that would help to influence on expansion of horizons, abilities and enthusiasm.
