Abstract

Effect of molar ratio of melamine-urea-formaldehyde adhesive resins condensed no-waste method’s on the selected properties of the polycondensates during storage time. III. Formaldehyde emission. In presented article were discussed hygienic properties of beech three-plywood produced with the use of melamine-ureaformaldehyde resins (MUF) in function of molar ratio and storage time. Formaldehyde emission from plywoods accordingly to the requirements of standards PN-EN 717-1:2006 and PN-EN 717-3:1999 were tested. On the base of carried out tests it was stated, that storage time of MUF resin did not effect on the level of formaldehyde emission from the produced plywood. The increase of substrate molar ratio caused a higher formaldehyde emission.
