Effect of Polyacrylamide with ZnO Nano Aqueous Solution on the Chemical Flooding Method with Enhanced Oil Recovery EOR) – An Experimental and Modelling Study
Journal Title: International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD ) - Year 2019, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
This work studied the effect of polyacrylamide (PAM) with ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) solution on the recovery of crude oil in tertiary stage. Shear viscosity due to shear rate and salt concentration, also shear stress with different shear rates were tested. Core flooding test used to check the ratio of oil produced from Core as porous media. Ansys-Fluent 16.1 by program based on finite volume with the help of experimental data was used to visualize the interphase between injected fluid and oil in porous media. The results show that the shear viscosity decreases and shear stress increases with the ZnO NPs increasing. Non-Newtonian flow and shear thinning phenomena dominate the viscosity curve. 1000ppm PAM with 0.005%ZnO/brine water give 80.32%oil production, low interfacial tension and uniform interaction in Oil Volume. Fraction between injected solution and displacement fluid form Core by Ansys

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF DISPERSION COMPENSATION USING ELECTRONIC DISPERSION COMPENSATION TECHNIQUES AT DIFFERENT BIT RATES USING SINGLE MODE FIBER
The performance in the fiber optical communication is majorly limited by a phenomenon called dispersion which generally starts growing after 2Gbps data rate. The pulse gets widened as they travel down the fiber. This wid...
Mechanical Behaviour of Glass Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Composite Material
The main objective of this work is to study the three samples of glass fibre reinforced with three different ratio of epoxy resin. In this study the different weight percentage of given material properties are identified...
Impact of Engine Emissions From HCCI Engine: An Overview
Homogenous Charge Compression Engine (HCCI) runs in advanced mode of combustion were no spark plug or fuel injector is needed to initiate the combustion. When the chemical energy of the fuel attains its excited level (au...
Design and Efficiency of an Asymmetric Gear
Presently, Gears suffer backlash as well as interference and undercutting. These defects can be eliminated by increasing the pressure angle or by increasing the addendum of the matting gear design for many years. In addi...
Optimization Cutting Parameters When Grinding ШX15 Steels Using Hai Duong Grinding Wheel
This paper presents an experimental research to build two regressions of the relationship between machining surface roughness and cutting parameters when grinding the ШX15 steels by Hai Duong grinding wheels. Two types o...
