Effect of use cumulative levels of sesame (sesamum indicum-l) meal with phytase enzyme on performance of broiler chicks
Journal Title: Scientific Journal of Veterinary Advances - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 12
Abstract
For investigate theeffect of feeding the levels of Sesame meal (SSM) for Soybean meal (SBM) withthe phytase enzyme (Phy) on performance of broiler chickens, total 384 one daysold broilers chickens (Ross 308) at completely randomized factorial design with4 treatments of use sesame meal in 2 level of using phytase enzyme with 4replicates were used. At the end of the trial 2 birds from each pen wasslaughtered Carcass weight, dressing, abdominal fat, and intestine weight werealso measured. To evaluate the digestibility of phosphorus (P.DI) 0.3 %Dichromium trioxide Marker Cr2o3 was used. Data showed that use of SSM lead toincrease broilers feed intake FI (P<0.05). Interaction effects betweenSSM×Phy caused higher FI significantly (P<0.05). Use of sesame meal andaddition enzyme had no significant effect on FCR significantly. Data from thisstudy showed that levels of Calcium and Phosphorus in blood and Tibia ash wereincreased were SSM and Phy enzyme used (P<0.05). Antibody titer against NewCastle Vaccine was not changed. Evaluation of Phosphorous digestibility showedthat using SSM with Phy enzyme can increase PDI significantly (p<0.05). Asresult was relevant small intestine mucosa and sub mucosa diameters weresignificantly increased when we used T1, T2, T3 (p<0.05). Musclaris andserosa diameter were higher in T2, T3 than others. Data from this study showeduse of SSM in broilers diets is likely to increase total diameter of smallintestine parts (p<0.05).
