Effect of using cooling and lubrication method with <br /> oils on water in cutting<br />

Abstract
Cooled air，minimum botanic or ester oils and little water are used to form new cutting fluids of oils on water (OoW) by means of combined mist-jet. The paper speaks the cooling and lubrication method of OoW, and compares and analyzes the cutter wear and surface roughness under some different kinds of major cooling methods through the results of cutting experiment. It shows the superiority of OoW green cutting fluids.
