ЭФФЕКТИВНОСТЬ УДАЛЕНИЯ ИНОРОДНЫХ ТЕЛ ИЗ ЗАДНЕГО ОТДЕЛА ГЛАЗНОГО ЯБЛОКА ТРАНСВИТРЕАЛЬНЫМ ПУТЁМ

Abstract
The most common posttraumatic complication requiring surgical intervention is the introduction of foreign bodies (FB) into the posterior parts of the eyeball. Annually, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 2.5 million cases of eye injuries are registered. Intraocular foreign bodies (IOFB) occur in 20-40 % of penetrating eye injuries. The main origin of this article is the method of removing intraocular foreign bodies from the posterior segment of the eye in a transvitreal way. Advantages of this method are the ability to remove foreign body, located to the center of the equator, reducing the risk of direct intraoperative damage to the retina and choroid, the possibility of one-step implementation of reconstructive interventions on the anterior segment of the eye. Based on the results of the study, a reduction was obtained on the effectiveness of this method.
