Efficient Current Mode Multipliers in Signal Processing
Journal Title: International Journal of Research in Computer and Communication Technology - Year 2014, Vol 3, Issue 5
Abstract
This paper explains about the operation of the current mode multiplier circuits in signal processing. The multiplier/divider presents the advantage of very small linearity errors that can be obtained as a result of the proposed design technique. In this multiplier circuit, we are using the organic field effect transistor for designing the multiplier/divider circuits. OFET have been fabricated with various device geometries. The commonly used device gate dielectric geometry is bottom gate with top drains and source electrodes, thermally grown SiO2 as dielectric and poly-hexyl-thiophene as the organic material . It will operate in a very low voltage operation of 1V. The OFET can be designed using the 0.18µm technology. The power consumption is about 55µW.
