Einige anmerkungen zur struktur der Kurzwörter im deutschen flugtechnischen Wortschatz des Zweiten Weltkrieges

Abstract
The article discusses the structure of German acronyms used in aviation and technology excerpted from German-Russian specialized dictionary published in Moscow in 1942. The introduction of the article describes the history of German aviation with emphasis on its rapid development in the analyzed period. The author presented some previous research on the structure of acronyms and explained the difference between abbreviation and acronym by defining both terms. The practical part of the article focuses on the analysis of the selected material with regard to the structure. The author made several remarks on the orthography of analyzed acronyms and abbreviations.
