Ejection Seat Rocket Motors of Aircrafts - Analysis of Construction

Abstract
A comparison of structural features and ballistic parametrers of rocket motors of ejection seats has been made for contemporary combat aircrafts. The authors had the data obtained from their own researches and of collected literature data. The own investigations concerned KM1M, K-36D (Russian made), and Mk10 (British made) ejection seats. Literature data of ACES II (US made) and VS (Czech made) and other ejection seats were collected from websites. In conclusion, it has been stated that ejection seats of various constructions and masses are described by similar kinamatic parameters of the ejection process, what results from physiological limitations of pilot organism subjected to a high overload.
