Abstract

It was determined that under the conditions of the left-bank Forest-steppe Ukraine, the growth and development of early-hybrid of cauliflower occurs within the daily average temperature of 20,5...21,1 oC, the sum of active temperatures above 10 oC–2490,4-2560,6 oC, precipitation during the growing season – 97,4–279,3 mm, GTC = 0,4-1,1. Depending on the characteristics of the hybrid and the conditions of the growing season, the yield of cauliflower varies within 9,9–15,0 t/ha. On average, over the three years of research, a higher level of commodity yield was noted in the Kul F1 (12,3 t/ha), but the highest level of yield stability and head mass was characterized by the Opal F1 hybrid. The increase between the maximum and minimum values of the parameters of this hybrid (absolute variation) was closer to zero compared to other hybrids. According to the Lewis phenotypic stability coefficient, Opal F1: SF = 1,2 is also more stable in yield. These data are also confirmed by the coefficient of agronomic stability (As), which is 89,5 % in the Opal hybrid F1.
