ЕКСПРЕСИВНА ФУНКЦІЯ СЛОВА У ТВОРАХ І. НЕЧУЯ-ЛЕВИЦЬКОГО ЯК ВЗІРЕЦЬ ДЛЯ СУЧАСНИХ ПИСЬМЕННИКІВ

Abstract
The article analyzes the expressive and emotional vocabulary in the works of the classic of Ukrainian literature by I. Nechui-Levytsky, defines its functional role; Features of semantics of expressive lexical units, means of their expression are analyzed; It is ascertained whether a large number of omnipresent elements is justified in the works of the writer. We have studied the emotional words of two types: 1) those that do not have a conceptual basis and express only emotions; 2) expressing both concepts and emotions simultaneously. The theoretical significance of the materials is that the generalizations and conclusions of the study deepen already known and form new knowledge about the features of semantics and the functioning of Ukrainian expressive vocabulary. The complex analysis made it possible to make new, theoretically important generalizations about the types of lexical expressiveness, the means of expressing the emotional-evaluative semantic plans of expressive words in the works of the classics, to put them as a model for contemporary writers. After analyzing the texts of the works of I. Nechui-Levitsky, we can draw the following conclusions: bright expressiveness manifests itself at the lexical level. It is expressed in the widespread use by the writer of the commonplace. Proverbs are not part of the language linguistic fund of the Ukrainian language, they constitute a definite deviation from the generally accepted norms. However, the prose writer deliberately introduces unnormalized vocabulary into texts, the work of the writer does not burden them at all. Rather, the opposite: stylistically defined deviations are deeply impressive, bring aesthetic pleasure, awaken the intellect of man, and then intensively emphasize the beauty of language.
