ELECTRODES FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL MULTISENSOR OF SELENIUM AND OXYGEN

Abstract

Electrodes for electrochemical multisensor of selenium and oxygen, the sensitive element of which are films of titanium dioxide modified by zinc oxide and Au nanoparticles, have been developed. Operating characteristics of electrodes at combined determination of oxygen and selenium in liquids (рН=3÷4) are defined: half-wave potential of О2 electroreduction Е1/2 = -0,25 V, width of an «electrochemical window» ΔЕ=400 mV, potential of electrooxidation of selenium (Se0) ЕSe = +0,8В. The maximum sensitivity of electrodes to the dissolved oxygen in physiological solution NaCl, solutions of lemon and chloric acids was equal (8-12) ·10-8 mol∙l-1, sensitivity to selenium (5-7) ·10-6 mol∙l-1. The precision of О2 concentration measurement - 5-8 %, response time is 5-7 sec.
