ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTARY COOPERATION IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT: TRENDS AND PERSPECTIVES

Abstract

The article deals with the main advantages which entails the introduction of electronic document management systems in a higher education institution. The organization of electronic document management systems in the institution of higher education is analyzed, as well as the main requirements for electronic document management systems are presented. The main principles of the functioning of the integrated system of electronic document circulation and the problems that arise during their establishment and the possibility to create a single information space by integrating all documentary systems into the information node are described. The emphasis is placed on the most important prerequisites for the transfer of higher education to the system of organization of electronic document circulation, because this system allows determining the technology of passing internal documents in an organization. Considered and analyzed the basic requirements that need to be taken into account when choosing an electronic document flow system at a higher education institution. The conditions that the higher education institution administration should implement for the introduction of electronic document management are defined. The principles of organization of electronic document circulation, the legal and regulatory framework for electronic document management, functional capabilities of electronic document management systems, the current state and tendencies of the development of electronic document management systems are considered. The main directions of the strategy of development of information and communication technologies in education, which include document management in higher education institutions, on the way of their implementation, are analyzed. The basic direction of further research concerning their development is determined.
