ENERGY SAVING CONTROL FOR TRACTION FREQUENCY-REGULATED ASYN-CHRONOUS ENGINE OF TROLLEYBUS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the development and study of energy-saving control for a traction frequency-regulated asynchronous of engine trolleybus, which ensures the minimization of the total energy losses in this engine during the start-braking regime and the lowest power consumption of the trolleybus in steady-state operation. When conducting research, the methods of variational calculus, mathematical interpolation and simulation computer simulation were used. As a result of researches performed, refined analytical dependences were obtained to determine the current values of the efficiency of the trolleybus driving mechanism and the static moment of resistance on the traction motor shaft. The type of speed trajectories during acceleration and deceleration of the trolleybus, corresponding to the minimization of the total energy loss of its traction engine or the power consumption of the trolleybus in start-braking regimes, is established. The presence of optimal durations of acceleration and deceleration times, which ensure the minimization of the total energy losses of the traction engine in the start-braking regimes, is revealed. A calculated ratio is proposed for finding the established optimal speed of the traction engine, at which the overall energy consumption of the trolleybus is minimized. The electromechanical and energy processes in the traction frequency-regulated asynchronous engine of trolleybus are researched under steady state and start-braking regimes. Practical implementation of the obtained results allows to reduce to the minimum possible values the unproductive energy losses of the trolleybus during its movement.
