INVESTIGATION OF QUASI-OPTIMAL CONTROL OF SPEED OF FREQUENCY REGULATORY-DRIVEN ASYNCHRONOUS ENGINE IN START-BRAKING MODES

Abstract

Purpose. To carry out research in the part of refinement of mathematical dependence for the description of quasioptimal control, to develop an universal engineering technique for calculating engine tachograms for a given control and proposals for the application of said control at optimum values of acceleration and deceleration times of a frequency-controlled induction engine. Methodology. Methods were used: integral calculus, numerical method of solving (Runge–Kutta) differential equations, analytical interpolation of graphical dependencies, computer simulation. Results. Obtained dependencies for a mathematical description of the general form of quasioptimal control of a frequency-controlled asynchronous engine in the start-braking regimes designed to minimize the electromagnetic energy losses of this engine in these regimes. An universal engineering technique for calculating quasioptimal tachograms of a frequency-controlled asynchronous engine for starting braking regimes has been developed. The analysis of the possibility of practical application for existing frequency-controlled asynchronous electric drives of quasioptimal control at optimum duration of acceleration and deceleration times of the engine is carried out. To ensure a reduction in engine energy losses in the starting braking regimes, a combined quasioptimal control is proposed for large values of acceleration and deceleration times, in which a combination of several regimes of engine operation is used: acceleration or deceleration with quasi-optimal control with optimum acceleration and deceleration times, and also demagnetization and magnetization of the stopped engine, its deenergized state. Analytic dependencies are obtained to calculate the savings in engine energy losses achieved through the application of combined quasi-optimal control. Originality. The quasi-optimal control of the frequency-controlled asynchronous engine in the part of refinement of the mathematical dependences describing it has been further developed and the investigation of the combined version of quasi-optimal control used to realize the increased values of the acceleration and deceleration times of the engine. Practical value. The developed universal engineering technique allows the calculation of tachograms with quasi-optimal control, which provides energy saving in the starting braking regimes of a frequency-controlled induction engine. The proposed combined quasi-optimal control provides additional energy saving in the starting brakes of the engine; an estimate is given of the energy savings achieved at the same time.
