Ensuring Quality of Educational Activity with the Participation of Students

Abstract
In modern social and economic conditions special attention is focused on the students’ active involvement into the organization and improving the quality of higher education. The main aim of the given paper is the scientific substantiation of students’ participation in the processes ensuring the quality of educational activities backed by the Law of Ukraine "On higher educationation". The task of the paper is to analyze the practice of MHEI "Zhytomyr Nursing Institute" students' participation in providing quality of educational activities. The article deals with the mechanism of attracting students into the process of providing quality of learning activities with the participation of students in higher medical institutions. Certainly, a student is a full, competent and constructive partner in governance and quality assurance of higher education, who also can and ought to participate and influence the organization, learning content and results of learning activities and emphasize the importance of different feedback forms for quality control. At the end of each semester students conduct survey aimed at revealing the level of teaching objects. The questionnaire purpose was to receive feedback, better orientation in requirements, opportunities of students and to consider their offers for improvement of quality of statements and management of educational process in general. At the end of each academic year students carry out a survey on their satisfaction with the work of the service departments (departments, educational and methodical department, a human resources department, library, department of technical means, scientific department, the psychologist of institute, the social teacher, the dining room, dormitory, etc.). During September, first year students conduct a survey in order to obtain feedback on the activities of the selection committee: assess clearness and understand ability of the rules of admittance; timeliness and transparency of the announcement of the results of reception; organization of documents acceptance, signing the contracts; the organization of settlement into dorms; system of measures of acquaintance with activity of service departments; analyze motivators of the choice of educational institution and others.
