Journal Title: Гепатологія - Year 2017, Vol 37, Issue 3

Abstract

In patients with early non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease characterized by constipation, congestion of bile outfl ow, biliary dyskinesia and other disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, nutritional therapy was used. It implied eating only in case of permanent hunger, food rich in dietary fi ber, antioxidants and hepatoprotectors, avoidance of animal protein. Th e patients’ condition was evaluated by non-motor symptoms scale (NMSS) and autonomic disorders questionnaire by A.M. Vein. All patients showed improvements in their conditions. We have developed the method of nutritional correction, which is eff ective for elimination of intestinal disorders in early non-motor disorders and Parkinson’s disease and can be recommended for com-plex treatment of this disease.
