Epistemological approach needed for regional studies. Principles for its approach

Abstract
The aim of this work is to base the relationship between man and the historical-cultural context through the justification of cognitive and formative nature of this interaction on the appropriation of the categories human and spatial system. For this systematization is made and used the analytic-synthetic, historical and logical and system for the interpretation of the regional situation methods and space category, region, territory, place and community. The principles provide comprehensiveness, spaciousness, diversity, self-development, functionality and interdisciplinarity in the study of regional development with a humanistic and sustainable approach.
