Abstract
There has been a constant change of southern rural areas of the Iberian Peninsula towards its resource’s exploitation. This, as well as the exploitation of other areas of the peninsula, has promoted the need of developing a study that will promote the preservation and respect of the natural landscape surroundings that adjoin with archaeological sites. Decoupling archaeological enclaves from the space where they were developed irremediably leads to the incomprehension and decontextualization of the entire archaeological complex. This article encourages the study and protection of these cultural landscapes and, at the same time, offers itself as a tool for protecting natural spaces, today deeply transformed by various parts of the industry.
