Essence and necessity of competition development of industrial enterprises

Abstract
Actuality of research of development of industrial enterprises in the conditions of competition was considered. The different approaches to interpretation of economic development were investigated, in particular: the theory of evolutional development, the neoclassical approach, the marxist approach, the technical-economical conception of development, the institutional approach. The development of enterprise as a complex economic system from the standpoint of the system approach was considered. It was determined, that the basic criterion of development of industrial enterprises is arising of new quality of their functioning. The basic approaches to interpretating term "development" were considered. It was found, that combination of properties of irreversibility, purposefulness and regularity is the basis of enterprise’s development as a socio-economic system. It was concluded, that development of enterprise has triple nature - as phenomenon, regularity and principle. The features of competition as a factor of development were educed and expediency to regard competition development of enterprise as a special form of development was substantiated. A new concept was offered - competition development of enterprise is based on the immanent ability of enterprise for changeability process of realization of structural changes, consequented of using competitive strategy, which results to appearance of new internals of enterprise, due to what stability of enterprise is provided and its possibility to resist to destructive influence of external competition environment is risen.
