Essence of labour potential as to socio-economic category

Abstract
The problems of forming and use of labour potential are considered in works of economists, in scientific works of philosophers, sociologists, demographers and scientific other areas of knowledge. In the last few years in academic community this range of problems many scientists that expounded certain interpretations of this concept engaged. Therefore great quantity of interpretations of this economic category appeared. But in our view, still a concept "Labour potential" does not have more complete summarizing determination. Aims and Objectives: essence details of concept «labour potential» on the basis of stream processes. The wide spectrum of scientific approaches in relation to determination of concept «labour potential» is analysed. The different points of view of labour potential essence determination are certain. Three basic approaches of concept «labour potential» determination are formed - resource, structural (functional) and regulatory (purposeful). Author’s approach of concept «labour potential» determination on the basis of stream processes is offers. Labour potential of enterprise should be construed as the aggregate of input, internal and output labour streams.
