Journal Title: The Odisha Journal of Psychiatry - Year 2011, Vol 18, Issue 1

Abstract

The article describes the importance of ethics as related to planning conducting, and publishing research. Various guidelines and Good Clinical Practice have been discussed. The article has highlighted the legal issues which are relevant to research processes. Research misconducts and their implications have considerable concern for all stakeholders from researchers to ethics committees and journal editors. Awareness regarding ethics in research has been stressed.
