ETHNIC RELIGIONS OF THE BALTS: THE CONCEPTIONAL APPROACH

Abstract
The article is dealing with sourses, that tell about Baltic ethnos and describe the native religion in Middle Ages. There is a definition of the sources, according with which the research of the declared problem will be done, including chronicles and folklore heritage. As well is defined the metodological basis of the research (works on philosophy, religion, ethnology and linguistics). As a research perspective the include of Latvian and Lithuanian sources to the national study of religion is required.
