Evaluating the attitude of students of Tehran University of Medical Sciences regarding to their educational field and future career; 2015-6

Abstract

Background &Aims: Students as one of the basic elements of universities, organize the core body of deferments social organization in the future. Their attitudes and satisfaction of their field is an important factor in their motivation. This study is aimed to evaluate the attitude of students regarding to their educational field in Tehran University of medical sciences.Method: This is a descriptive-analytic and cross-sectional study. The research Population was all students of Tehran University of medical sciences that have passed at least one educational term. 331 students were selected by stratify-randomized method from each school. Data was collected by Valid and reliable questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software version 16. Findings: Findings of this study showed that among the factors that has impact on students` attitude about their educational field, "social position of the educational field" and" rate of its effect on the personality and attitude of the student" allocated a higher score (P>0.05). Conclusion:Many factors and areas impact the attitude of students regarding to their educational field. So, it is necessary to implement effective plans to enforce their attitude and increase their awareness toward better operation of knowledge.
