Journal Title: Indian Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Biotechnology - Year 2017, Vol 5, Issue 2

Abstract

The study was conducted to evaluate and compare the efficacy and safety of Atorvastatin alone and in combination with Fenofibrate in dyslipidemic patients at General Hospital, Nunna. Safety of Atorvastatin alone and in combination with Fenofibrate was evaluated. Efficacy of both therapies in dyslipidemic patients was compared. Efficacy of both therapies on diabetic and non-diabetic dyslipidemic patients was compared. The atorvastatin-fenofibrate combination had been shown to have highly beneficial effect on lipid parameters in diabetes associated with dyslipidemia.
