Evaluation of efficiency of the functioning of consumer cooperation in the agrarian sector of national economics

Abstract

Annotation. The aim of this study is to study the efficiency of consumer cooperatives in the agricultural sector of the national economy and construction of structural models for evaluating the efficiency of consumer cooperatives in the agricultural sector of the national economy. Methodology of research. The objectives of the article implemented by using the following research methods: logical and comparative analysis, grouping and comparison. Findings. Development of consumer cooperatives and agro-industrial integration is one of the priority areas of stabilisation and development of the agricultural sector of the economy. Therefore, the efficiency of consumer cooperatives in the agricultural sector of the national economy, which is closely linked to the development of productive forces and the deepening social division of labour due to the specific characteristics of the legal form of association, shall have certain criteria and the system of economic indicators. The article deals with the question of the place and role of consumer co-operation in the agrarian sector of the national economy. A structural model for assessing the efficiency of consumer cooperatives functioning in the agrarian sector of the national economy was systematically formulated and constructed. Practical value. A comprehensive assessment of the efficiency of consumer cooperatives in the agricultural sector of the national economy of the proposed structural model should be performed through continuous monitoring of the need to assess its status in the country or region (region) and developing areas of the adjustment of organizational, legal, economic and social conditions perspective of consumer cooperatives. However, the practical use of the proposed model will by selective use of indicators to provide a comprehensive assessment of the functioning of a consumer cooperatives agricultural sector of the national economy.
