EVALUATION OF SEAFARERS RECRUITMENT FOR THE SHIPPING COMPANIES

Abstract
The key performance indicators of the effectiveness of seafarers recruitment for the shipping companies were formed, that include economic efficiency, productive efficiency and the speed of vacancy filling. A method for evaluating the effectiveness of recruitment of seafarers to the shipping companies, which should be carried out in conjunction with the analysis of the ratio of the key performance indicators using a Venn diagram was developed. Application of this technique will allow crewing companies to improve the quality recruitment and assessment of seafarers, which has a positive impact on efficiency of functioning both crewing and shipping companies, and will contribute to enhancing their competitiveness.
