Evaluation of the finance lease market in Algeria For the period 2007-201

Abstract
This dissertation aims to demonstrate in a precise way the place occupied by the leasing market in Algeria. Introduced in Algeria more than 15 years ago, leasing has become today as a complementary tool for financing businesses and the national economy. Financing by leasing continues, indeed, its development in Algeria. At the end of 2013, the global commitments of the leasing companies increased by 19% to 44 billion dinars, against 37 billion dinars in 2012. An appreciable and remarkable expansion, which however remains weak in the eyes of the experts,. which represents only 1% of the financial commitments of the place because of the weakness of the supply, which is below the potential demand on this financial product. Based on the foregoing, this paper attempts to shed light on the situation of the leasing market in Algeria and its classification by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as well as the current difficulties of this activity which reduce the demand on this financial product, such as the regulatory obstacle, the increase in the net margin (the cost of rent) due to a lack of competition between leasing companies, and the existence of a bond market ineffective that does not allow leasing companies to finance their growth.
