EVALUATION ON AARHUS CONVENTION AND TURKEY IN TERMS OF THE RIGHT OF ACCESS TO ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION

Abstract
The Aarhus Convention is a regulation that environmental right is made coming into at the international level. Environmental right is regulated as access to environmental information, participation and access to justice in the convention. The Aarhus Convention was entered into force in 2001, but Turkey has not been singatured the convention. Making a comprasion subject to access to environmental information, participation and access to justice environmental matters between the Aarhus Convention and legal regulations in Turkey is the purpose of this article. The article will be revealing differencess at the result of the study, and Turkey will be making recommendations about its deficiencies.
