SETTING WITHIN THE NOVEL “HİÇBİRYER”

Abstract

Fatma Barbarosoğlu is a well-known author with for her novels, essay research and review books, and newspaper articles and stories for about 30 years. The author published children stories in the 199Os, and then she began to publish novels in the mid-2000s. The author's first novel was Hiçbiryer(Nowhere),but she also wrote the novels Uzak Ülke (Far Country), Medya Senfoni (Media Symphony) and Son On Beş Dakika (Last Fifteen minutes). The setting, which is one of the most important elements in a novel, lets the reader perceive the characters perspectives in the novel. The setting, which had to be available within traditional narrative styles, has appeared in the novel in a much more functional style in the modern times. In the style of a novel, setting and materials have turned into the reflections of the spiritual lines of heroes. This study will investigate settings in the novel Hiçbiryer.
