Experimental research of the frequency dependence of microwave radiation coefficients of reflection and transmission in the nanometer conductive inclusions

Abstract

The current state of research of electrodynamic properties of one-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide is analyzed. The crystals interaction with electromagnetic radiation microwave range by the need to determine the parameters of nanometer metal films, dielectric and semiconducting structures used in manufacturing of compact microwave circuits for modern communication systems and telecommunications, with the creation of antennas, radar technology, measurement equipment and various sensors are investigated. The theoretical model of interaction, including photonic crystals containing nanometer dielectric layers and top that allows you to calculate coefficients of reflection and transmission of ultra-high-frequency radiation for such structures is developed. The features of the interaction of microwave radiation with waveguide-dimensional photonic crystal with different dielectric properties, structure, and thickness are experimentally investigated. Reflection spectra of these structures are obtained.
