Factores incidentales de conducta de los agentes de seguridad penitenciaria en el contexto de su trabajo

Abstract
This work describes the incidental factors of the behavior of the Penitentiary Security Agents in the labor context, due to the fact that, in their relationships and interrelationships with people deprived of liberty, different ways of behaving are evidenced as a consequence of the socio-labor conditions. Information was collected through interviews with ten acting security agents, ten ex-prison security guides, ten inmates (PPL) and ten ex-inmates. The data reveals that the Penitentiary Security Agents maintain adequate emotional control inside and outside their workplace. However, they feel very concerned about their safety and even to their families' safety, in the performance of their duties and they show significant changes in their behavior; which leads to the conclusion that, due to routine activities, the inherent limitations to safety and work demands; the Prison Security Agents have socio-emotional effects from the working conditions in which they work.
